These terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Mini Cabs Hackney. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unconditionally accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
1. Definitions
Mini Cabs Hackney, "we," or "us" refer to the service-providing company. "You" and "your" pertain to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
2. Booking
2.1 Allocate sufficient time for the journey, especially for airport transfers with specific check-in times. Mini Cabs Hackney is not responsible for delays due to insufficient time allocation or unpreparedness.
2.2 Order a car of suitable size for travelers and luggage. No guarantee is made for excessive luggage. Child passengers, regardless of age, are considered a single passenger.
2.3 Request wheelchair access during booking.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 Prices quoted are based on provided information and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to alter quotes for material itinerary changes.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the landing time and airport parking costs. Waiting beyond this incurs the standard Mini Cabs Hackney waiting rate.
3.3 Confirm booking details upon receiving confirmation. Mini Cabs Hackney is not responsible for delays or costs due to unreported mistakes.
3.4 Payment methods: cash, credit card, or debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 Passengers are responsible for behavior; charges may apply for soiling or damaging the vehicle.
4.2 No eating, drinking, or smoking in the car.
4.3 Restrain children appropriately based on height, weight, and age.
4.4 Adhere to passenger limits set by licensing or insurance.
5. Cancellations
5.1 Cancel as soon as possible to avoid charges. Post-dispatch cancellations incur charges based on driver time and distance.
5.2 Online booking cancellations may incur charges before dispatch.
6. Liability
6.1 Mini Cabs Hackney is not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control.
6.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 Alternative transportation provided for breakdowns.
6.4 You indemnify Mini Cabs Hackney for expenses arising from any omission or act by your party.
6.5 Liability exclusion does not apply to personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or unenforceable matters under applicable laws.
7. Termination
7.1 Right to terminate or refuse a booking if a vehicle or driver is at risk. No refunds for terminated journeys.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Mini Cabs Hackney may subcontract obligations. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 Terms and conditions may be altered by Mini Cabs Hackney. Review regularly for awareness. Existing bookings are undertaken at applicable rates at the time of booking.
8.3 Data processing adheres to the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement represents the full understanding between Mini Cabs Hackney and yourself.
8.5 No third-party rights unless agreed in writing.
9. Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made after this timeframe are not obligated to be entertained by Mini Cabs Hackney.
